1. Material Selection

Strictly procure raw materials such as steel, connectors, and coatings according to the design drawings and owner requirements, ensuring that their grades, specifications, and performance indicators all meet the regulations.

2. Sighting

According to the construction drawings, conduct 1:1 physical layout or create precise cutting drawings for all components.

Before layout, the operator must fully familiarize themselves with the construction drawings and process requirements, and verify the geometric dimensions and connection relationships between components. If any errors are found in the drawings or if changes are needed, written confirmation from the original design unit must be obtained; unauthorized modifications are strictly prohibited.
2. The steel measuring tape used for staking out must be verified and qualified by a legal metrology unit, and it should be compared with the steel measuring tapes used by relevant units. Dimension measurement should adopt the method of segmental accumulation, and cumulative measurement after segmentation is prohibited.
3. Layout should be done on a specialized flat surface. The components should be laid out in a 1:1 scale; if the components are too large, a cutting diagram can be redrawn.
4. The sample rods and sample board substrates must be straight and any bending deformation must be corrected before use.
5. When making sample rods and samples, the processing symbols, reference lines, and hole center marks should be clearly marked. Reserve processing allowances according to the process requirements, then perform stamping marks, and use magnetic paint to indicate information such as project number, component number, specifications, hole diameter, quantity, etc.
6. After the laying out is completed, the operator must conduct a self-check and, if there are no errors, submit it for re-inspection by a dedicated inspector.
7. Qualified sample rods and samples should be classified and stored according to part numbers and specifications, and kept in good condition.

Three, number material

After passing the layout inspection, number the materials based on their geometric dimensions, and reasonably reserve processing allowances and welding shrinkage amounts, while ensuring clear identification and documentation.

1. Before processing, operators should understand all the symbols and markings on the sample rod, template (or blanking diagram), and verify the material grade, specifications, and furnace batch number. If there is no discharge plan, they should create their own cutting plan to improve material utilization.
2. When measuring the materials, it is necessary to review the specifications and check the appearance quality. If discrepancies are found, they must be immediately reported to the quality and technical department; if the materials are bent or the flatness exceeds the standard, they must be corrected before measuring.
3. Defective areas, such as inclined ends of profiles or curved edges of plates, should be cut off or corrected before grading materials.
4. According to the different subsequent cutting (sawing, slicing) and processing (planing, milling) methods, reserve the corresponding cutting amount, processing allowance, and welding shrinkage amount.
5. When the length or width of the raw materials is insufficient and requires splicing, the splice location must indicate the number and bevel shape. Spliced parts with holes should have the holes processed only after welding and correction are completed.
